Joaquin Arias is a Philadelphia-based pianist, composer, and vocalist working across jazz and pop. As the pianist for the premier jazz band at the University of Pennsylvania, he brings deep musicianship and a classical sense of form to every performance.
A former Artist in Residence at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, Joaquin has performed throughout the Philadelphia area and beyond, sharing the stage with jazz legends including Jimmy Green and Tatum Greenblatt. From an intimate solo piano set to a full quartet, he brings warmth, versatility, and musical depth to every room.
